Powered by Windows Mobile 6

Windows Mobile 6 Standard adds power to your mobile office with up-to-date e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization of Outlook calendars.

Edit Word documents and Excel spreadsheets on your phone, just as you would on your desktop/laptop PC. Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 updates the Windows Mobile 5 platform with a number of handy features that make searching through email, editing Microsoft Office documents, and staying on top of your most important communications even easier. Emails can now be viewed in their original rich HTML format and now offer the ability to visit embedded links. It also includes Windows Live for Windows Mobile, which provides a full set of Windows Live services, such as the Windows Live Messenger IM application, which now enables you to chat with more than one person at one time or send a file.

With Windows Mobile 6, your phone will finally be able to emulate the power and features of your PC's Microsoft Office suite. You'll be able to neatly view, navigate and edit Word documents and Excel spreadsheets in their original formatting--without affecting tables, images or text--as well as view PowerPoint presentations. Microsoft Office Word Mobile features include spell-check, Find and Replace commands, bulleted lists, text formatting, and support for tables for the first time. With Excel Mobile, you're not just confined to editing charts: with the new Chart Wizard you can create charts quickly and easily. PowerPoint Mobile allows you to view the full presentation, rehearse timings, check the order and any live links you may have in your presentation. You can then email comments back to the team or communicate via MSN Messenger for an immediate response. After creating or editing a Word document or Excel spreadsheet, you can synchronize it with your PC and it will automatically be converted to the PC version.

All Windows Mobile 6 powered devices include Direct Push Technology for up-to-date e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization of Outlook calendars, tasks and contacts through Microsoft Exchange Server. It also offers a set of important device security and management features that include the capability to remotely wipe all data from a device should it be lost or stolen, helping ensure that confidential information remains that way.

What Customers Say About Pantech C810 Duo Phone, Red (AT&T):

I bought this phone after Thanksgiving and as of today (May 27th) I was told by Best Buy (where I bought it) that I would need to send it in for repairs. The lesson I learned from this is I should have just bought the iPhone and skipped the whole windows mobile option. I find the whole Windows Mobile OS to be pretty lame. I did eventually get the Unlimited Data package and that did help some it was still annoying to find out that I was paying $30 extra a month for data that did not give me the true internet but rather gave me unlimited access to the "MediaNet" and it's strange version of a handful of sites.

It wasn't cheap either: $100 plus some other fee I can't remember. I find the phone to be more frustrating than helpful and I will refer to my iPod touch before I will try to find the same information in my phone. My only advice would be to change everything and make a shameless clone of the iPhone. To all of you out there who like this phone, more power to you. I am not normally this negative but this phone really has angered me a great deal. The phone part is very unreliable.

I don't know what I would change to make this better. Signed an angry Pantech owner. While it "syncs" with my computer it is quite easy to make a change and not realize that you just deleted all you contacts, calender appointments, emails, or files from the phone until you have left home and have no way of getting the information you wanted. Very disappointing.I have to say that I do like the two sliding parts to expose the different keyboards, however, I do find the phone to be about 3/16 of an inch too thick.

The internet is slow compared to the IPhone and the reception and sound quality are [.]. If you want to make sure your text went through, you have to keep looking at the screen for a few seconds to make sure that it goes through, because when it does go through, it tells you. Resending a message that fails to go through the first time seems like such a basic and obvious feature and the lack of it on this phone just makes me want to throw it against a wall sometimes. I hate this phone. The only redeeming quality is the qwerty keyboard. The biggest one being that text messages often fail to send, and instead of trying to resend the message, the phone just throws the message into the 'Drafts' folder. I got it about three months ago and was pleased for the most part, but then I started to realize all the stupid little problems it has. This is really obnoxious because it has happened several times that I responded to someones text, only to realize an hour or so later that my response never went through.

Then one morning it was DEAD, it would not take a charge, it would not turn on, nothing, just DEAD. It took a while for hotmail to sync but after I got that straightened out I loved my phone. I expect a phone to last a LOT longer than 2 months. This is my first smartphone and I was very excited to get it and add a data plan to my account. I used it a ton for the first few months and it seemed to be great.

I really dont like this phone. This constantly happens yo me. Sometimes when I am talking on the phone, the phone service thing just hangs up.

You have to be extra careful with the phone. If you accidentally drop the phone, the phone will respond slower.I'm not rich so I can not pay for the internet. Sometimes you can not delete your own pictures or videos it would say somthing like violation of sharing and a bunch of other stuff. Its like a baby.

i mean think about it do you want a phone where you can not delete pictures that you dont want. Hopefully when I have some money, Im going to buy a quickfire or a smartphone. You can't do aim or anything that is internet related.

I get phone calls but sometimes the phone don't show it when the phone is supposed to be ringing.

I have to shut the phone off for a little while and restart it to get service. I purchased my Pantech around a month ago. I guess you get what you pay for (.01). Not exactly what I was expecting from this phone. So far the phone has worked okay. Somedays I don't get texts or calls so I check my phone and it says try again later, service is unavailable.
